We stopped here on a Saturday for lunch on our way home. We both had homemade head cheese with fried potatoes. It was excellent home-style cooking! Very well seasoned and very reasonably priced. We'll gladly come back again.

I was here for Father's Day 2024 with my hiking group, and we were all very satisfied. Of course, you have to reserve in advance for such a day, which was easily done by phone the day before. Upon arrival, the table was beautifully set, and the order was handled incredibly easily with "10 beers and 10 orders of roast pork with dumplings" :-). The food was simply sensational, with a lovely dark gravy and the meat was incredibly tender. High praise also goes to the dumplings. I will definitely come back again.

A rustic inn with super delicious food and a very friendly owner. Everything is freshly prepared and served promptly. We had the schnitzel with fried potatoes and enjoyed it. The salad was crisp and fresh with a great dressing. We'd be happy to come back and recommend it wholeheartedly. Don't be put off by the exterior facade; the interior is super clean and cozy.

A classic Franconian inn with friendly service and delicious food. Generously large portions, beautifully presented! I like the atmosphere; they don't try to be fancy or modern, but rather preserve tradition.

We were there for the first time today. Lunch was very good and the portion sizes were ample. The menu is very varied, with something for everyone. The service was very friendly. We'd gladly come back.

A small, old village pub with delicious food, excellent service, and everything freshly prepared just the way you like it. You wouldn't guess what's inside from the outside. We were very impressed with the food and service. Highly recommended.

Very tasty food and a wide variety of dishes. The price-performance ratio and portion sizes are simply top-notch and fair. Friendly and efficient staff. A very cozy, quiet beer garden. Highly recommended! Absolutely the BEST Cordon Bleu in the entire area! 5 stars totally deserved, simply top-notch!

I stopped here after being intrigued by a previous review. You have to make a special trip there, it's not on the way, but I can confirm that the food is excellent in an old-fashioned setting. It's worth coming. The price was more than reasonable, too.

I ate here two nights in a row. Really good food. #Exceptional meat and lux. The dish of the turkey breast with ananas and cheese - brilliant. The goulash soup was excellent. The #service was wonderful, very easy going and with #smiley faces. Evereybody is very kind and helpful, even though they know nothing but German. I very much recommend this place.
